So who is our next manager?
What is your evidence?
Can he start on Tuesday?
Can he take an old club with great traditions and greater possibilities into new stadium and fulfill that global potential?
Can it be David Moyes?
And (again) can he start tuesday?

It was a little off topic, about football manager.

Although having a keen eye for football players, perhaps you can help.

I will sack McDonald and appoint BURNSY BOY as my new number 2.

(you can manage the friendlies)

Re: So who is our next manager?

I'd be gutted to appoint Moyes. Absolutely gutted.

...............

Couldn't agree more.

Plus, is it too much to ask not to have a fucking Spurs legend as our next manager?

I mean, fucking Hoddle?

Eat my chuddlies.

I'd say it'll be put off if we get 3 points from the next 3 games terry sadly

Re: So who is our next manager?
I suppose if Allardyce gets 4 or 5 points from the next three games, this question will be put off for a few months.

That would be preferable to this constant negativity around the club. The man does himself no favours with his unremitting arrogance though.

Were you whomailing Griff0 to reveal our next manager??

Re: So who is our next manager?
I don't get that envelope all the time. Thunderlips sent me one that I only saw today when accessing the whomail

Is that a good enough reason?

Re: So who is our next manager?
Why do people need telling they've got whomail when there is a blipping yellow envelope symbol already doing so?

I hear G+S are fed up with second rate and are going for the originator. A man Alkardyce learnt everything he knows from. Dave Bassett.

Re: So who is our next manager?
Egg, the first season at the OS is a much bigger draw than anything Newcastle can offer, especially if they get into trouble this season and have to sack Pardew. Why would a manager with so many options like Moyes want to do a rescue job on a mid-table club?

If he picks a struggling Newcastle over a potentially history-changing move to the OS he'll be a very silly boy. I don't think he will.

BIZARRE

Re: So who is our next manager?
Ex-Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand has lambasted David Moyes for his "amateurish" and "bizarre" methods during his ill-fated 10 month reign as United manager.

In his new autobiography #2 Sides, which is currently being serialised in The Sun, Ferdinand doesn't hold back in his criticisms of the ex-Everton and Preston North End manager, chastising the Scotsman for his training methods and the style of football he had the then Premier League champions playing.

“Moyes’s innovations mostly led to negativity and confusion.

“The biggest confusion was over how he wanted us to move the ball forward. Often he told us to play it long. Some players felt they kicked the ball long more than at any time in their career.

“Sometimes our main tactic was the long, high, diagonal cross. It was embarrassing. In one home game against Fulham we had 81 crosses! I was thinking, why are we doing this? Andy Carroll doesn’t play for us!

“The whole approach was alien. Other times Moyes wanted lots of passing. He’d say: 'Today I want us to have 600 passes in the game. Last week it was only 400’. Who cares? I’d rather score five goals from 10 passes.”

The worst part of Moyes' reign for Ferdinand came during the Red Devils Champion's League Quarter-Final second leg, away to Bayern Munich, when Moyes took his team to practice their set pieces in a public park. It was during this session that Moyes informed Ferdinand, now with QPR, that he wouldn't be starting against the German champions, the next night.

"It killed me. Inside I wanted to scream and grab him. I'm a team player, so I just had to bite my tongue and stand there. But it was probably the worst single moment I ever had at United.

"I'd never been dropped for a big game like that - and to drop that on me in front of everybody."
